Attachment

This therapy focuses on the attachments people make early on in their lives, how these attachments can form an early blueprint for future relationships in adulthood, and how one perceives him/herself. Fear, insecurity, anger, mistrust, guilt/shame, unhappiness and pain are often unconsciously carried forward from relationship to relationship. Attachment-based therapy offers people the opportunity to experience, perhaps for the first time, a relationship where it feels safe enough to explore their feelings, mourn past losses and understand their emotional world.

The psychoanalytic approach will aim to develop a greater understanding of your unconscious feelings and processes. Additionally, you should feel a greater sense of autonomy, increased self worth, feel happier, more in control of your life and more comfortable being you.
